So. Where does something like “Mom Fail” come from?

1.The “fail” part came from this story about a Tooth Fairy who took too long. I felt like such a failure, but it was just the “parent guilt”, and judging from the comments I received from that post, I wasn’t the only mom who has “failed” at playing Tooth Fairy.

2. Blogtations. I love the community aspect of Blogtations, as well as her “sister site”, In Three Words. Blogtations brings quotes that are meaningful, but mostly hilarious — from bloggers all around. It’s a place to recognize the best of the best words being written. When the idea of “Mom Fail” hit, I immediately thought of Blogtations…  I didn’t just want to share my own stories of motherhood mishaps. There are so many crazy, nutty things that happen outside of my own relationship with my spawn. I want to see a place for the countless incredible tales (the best of the best) of motherhood, and bring them to one place. I owe my lovely friend, Musings,  at Blogations a great big hug for her encouragement and advice as I have wandered my way to getting Mom Fail up and going… *MWAH!*

3. The Fail Blog. Is an explanation needed? I mean, really…
